9 Workout Mistakes You Need to Avoid

7.     Using the poor form to lift weight: Performing exercises using incorrect form can not only ruin your workout session but increase your risk of injury and waste your valuable time. You should progress to heavier weight only when you have mastered a correct form of exercise with lesser weight and can perform an exercise with a full range of motion.

8.     Lifting heavy weight: This is a common problem with most gym beginners. Thinking that they will build muscles fast, many gym rookies start with heavy weights which compromise their form, leading to getting no benefits from the exercise.   

9.     Not doing warm-up: Warming up before your main exercise is important to prevent injuries, prepare your muscles for your workout and improve your performance. Also, it is important to stretch to cool down after your workout.
